Roberto is Professor of Operations Research at the University of Calabria, Italy. His major interests are in logistics, network optimization and parallel computing, and without him Larry wouldn't be the fastest, most whizzy or uniquely efficient computer in the world! Roberto has published numerous inspiring papers and co-authored Introduction to Logistics Systems Planning and Control (Wiley, 2004). He sits on many technological, logistics and computing committees and editorial boards, and has been involved in several revolutionary international research projects in the logistics sector.
