eCourier Does The London Cycle Challenge!

eCourier is committed to helping the environment and this year we have entered a team into the London Cycle Challenge

“The Cycle Challenge is a competition to see which team can cycle the most miles in a month. Teams that come top win great prizes. It’s free to enter and is a great reason to hop on your bike. If you’re already a cyclist already, why not encourage your colleagues, friends or family to join you and give cycling a try this summer.”

We want to show everyone how much our commitment is worth in real terms to the London environment so we have selected 10 of our Pushbike Couriers to form the team. Over the next month (18 June - 18 July), Larry, our supercomputer, will record all the cycle miles that these guys do on a daily basis whilst undertaking their job. As all our couriers carry GPS receivers that send back their location every 10 seconds, Larry will be able to compute precisely how many miles each courier does from leaving their home in the morning until they return again in the evening. We will also add major recreational mileage (such as the London to Brighton run we did recently) that the team undertakes during the period.
