Larry gets married!

eCourier is delighted to announce that it has been acquired by the Courier Systems Group. eCourier has always been at the forefront of technology within the logistics industry, but this purchase allows us to operate on an altogether bigger and better scale.

Whilst both companies will continue to trade under their own brands from their respective premises, we intend to forge a formidable partnership capable of delivering a level of service, technology and customer care unsurpassed within the Express Courier Industry

eCourier and Courier Systems both have unique characteristics, talents, skills and experience which we intend to preserve and improve upon. Initially, the changes will be very small, but over time this acquisition will allow both companies more flexibility in doing what we do best, delivering packages (happily)!

Teddy Bear Club (TBC) Clothing

As Ecourier was started by two budding entrepreneurs, we are always happy to give others a helping foot on the ladder. That is why we are so proud of one of our customer service agents, Yomi Akosile. Yomi has always been a bit of a cool cat, but he has taken his passion for fashion one step further by releasing his own clothing range with his business partner.

Teddy Bear Club (TBC) Clothing has been a long labour of love for Yomi and he is delighted to now have his brand out there. His website has been a great success and we at eCourier think his brand is great.

We think this boy is going places, so we suggest you all jump onto his coat tails and be among the first to sport his designs!

eCourier @ office

For the second year running, eCourier.co.uk were delighted to be exhibiting at the annual office* show in Earls Court. The show is aimed at PA's, EA's and office managers and we have had great success in attracting business at the show. This year's turnout was 18% up on last year and we are delighted to be the only courier company asked to attend.

With guest speakers including Jacqueline Gold and Michelle Mone, the event really does attract a great calibre of business professional and we look forward to attending again next year.

They also put on a great after show party, which allowed one of our staff members to show off his hidden talents. We were not aware that we had the 1986 Egyptian breakdancing champion within our midst.

It turned out to be an event, and a night, to remember!

National Courier Awards 2011 Winners!

eCourier attended the IOC (Institute of Courier) awards once again this year, held at the Institute of Directors in Pall Mall. We were thrilled to receive the '4 wheel courier of the year award' for our van courier, Brian Lloyd.

Brian is simply an unassuming professional courier. The rarer type of courier who simply shows up for work every day and accepts whatever the controlling "Gods" have in store for him. He is always presented in an exemplary fashion and with a clean and tidy vehicle.

Brian joined eCourier in early 2010 and has established himself as a real solid member of the van courier team. He is respected by the controllers and fellow drivers and is first choice when any new recruit is selected for training with an experienced courier.

We are sure that Brian is not always so appreciative of this task but always accepts the request with a quiet a calm and professional demeanour.

Well done Brian!
