Kindness Delivered: How Team eCourier Delivered Christmas Joy In 2025
Delivering Joy to Children in Need This Christmas
At eCourier, one of our core values is giving back – whether that’s supporting local communities, environmental initiatives, or causes that spread a little kindness. This year, we partnered with Operation Christmas Child UK, a wonderful project run by Samaritan’s Purse that delivers shoe boxes packed with gifts to children around the world who might not otherwise receive anything at Christmas.
For us, it wasn’t just about parcels and packaging, it was about delivering joy in its purest form.
Team eCourier got straight to work, rallying colleagues, family, and friends to create shoe boxes filled with love and care. Each person picked an age group and gender, then filled their box with toys, school supplies, personal care items, and – perhaps most importantly – a hand-written note to make a child smile.
A small donation helped cover the cost of shipping and tracking, allowing everyone to follow their box’s journey across the world — from their local depot to the hands of a child unwrapping it on Christmas Day.
It was a simple act that reminded us all just how powerful giving can be.
UBS – ELBA Toy Appeal 2025
Supporting UBS with their participation in the ELBA Toy Appeal has become a much-loved Christmas tradition for everyone at eCourier. For over a decade now, we’ve proudly volunteered our time and services to help make the appeal a success. Each year, our couriers collect donated presents and deliver them to local donation centres, helping ensure thousands of children from disadvantaged backgrounds receive a gift to open on Christmas Day.
It’s one of those initiatives that really reminds us why what we do matters. Behind every delivery is the opportunity to make a real difference, and the ELBA Toy Appeal is a perfect example of logistics being used for good.
As one of our valued clients, UBS shares our belief in giving back to the communities around us. Supporting charitable initiatives like the ELBA Toy Appeal allows us to play our part while standing alongside a business that genuinely cares. Whether it’s helping move parcels or spreading a bit of festive cheer, we’re always proud to support causes that create positive change, especially at a time of year when it matters most.
Giving back isn’t just something we do at Christmas. It’s part of who we are, and partnerships like this are what make it so rewarding.
Donating Essential Supplies to Whitechapel Mission
Every winter, our neighbours at Whitechapel Mission run an appeal to support people experiencing homelessness through the coldest months of the year. The appeal focuses on collecting essential, everyday items that help bring comfort, dignity and warmth during winter, from toothbrushes and toothpaste to soap, socks and razors.
Earlier this summer, Team eCourier was proud to support the Whitechapel Mission Breakfast Challenge, rolling up our sleeves to cook hundreds of breakfasts for those who needed them most. As Christmas approached, it felt only right to continue that support and lend a helping hand once again.
This year, we donated a range of personal care essentials, including 100 toothbrushes, 100 tubes of toothpaste, 100 combs, 100 bars of soap, 100 razors, 72 pairs of socks and 100 rain ponchos. Each of these items will go directly to people facing hardship in and around Whitechapel, the area where our head office is based.
Giving back to our local community is something we truly value at eCourier. Whether it’s serving up hundreds of hot breakfasts or donating vital essentials to help people through winter, we remain committed to supporting those who need it most, whenever we can.
Thank you, Team eCourier!
A huge thank you to everyone across our regions — from Manchester, Birmingham, Peterborough, Slough, and North West London to our East London Head Office — for getting involved so wholeheartedly.
Your generosity and spirit truly capture what makes eCourier special. This initiative was all about delivering happiness, something our team does naturally every single day.
Here’s to spreading kindness, one good deed at a time. ❤️
