Important Updates to Our Insurance & Packing Terms & Conditions

We’ve made some important updates to our Terms & Conditions to provide clearer details on our insurance coverage and packaging requirements. Please take a moment to review these changes.

What’s New?

Our standard insurance liability for a single consignment has been updated to a maximum of £100.00 from 1st September 2025.

This new limit applies to all domestic and international consignments, replacing the previous £250.00 limit.

Insurance Coverage
Here is a summary of what our insurance policy covers and what it does not.

The insurance covers:
Lost or misplaced goods
Theft of goods
Damage to the goods while in transit (subject to our packing guidelines)

The insurance does not cover:
Damage caused by the parcel or its contents, such as a leak.
Any loss or damage that is a direct result of insufficient or unsuitable packing.
Consequential loss

Goods we are unable to insure include:
Cash, currency, stamps, gold, jewellery (including precious metals).
Pottery, ceramics, or glass (including glass-like materials).
Antiques, works of art, furniture.

Packaging Requirements
To ensure your goods are protected and remain eligible for insurance coverage, please follow these guidelines:
Robust Packing: All goods must be robustly packed, where possible in original packaging, to avoid damage in transit.
Fragile & IT Goods: Fragile and IT items (such as computers or electronics) must be in their original packaging.
