To improve the accuracy and reliability of parcel deliveries, new postal regulations will come into effect from early 2026.

As part of these changes, shipments destined for Ireland must include a valid Eircode (the national 7-character postcode).

 

What does this mean?

A complete and correct Eircode will be mandatory for all orders shipped to Ireland

Missing or incorrect Eircodes may lead to delivery delays, address-correction handling, and possible refusal from carriers.

 

Where to find your Eircode?

If you are unsure of the correct Eircode for your address, you can look it up using the official Eircode Finder on the Irish system website:
