Our standard liability for Overnight and International shipments is £100.

If you require additional cover, you can now add enhanced insurance online in our portal. We insure up to a maximum of £3,000 on overnight shipments, charged at £15 per £1,000.

Cover includes computer equipment, phones and TVs up to 36″, provided they are in the original manufacturer’s packaging. For further details, please contact us.

Common questions about next day delivery.

What are the cut-off times for overnight and international shipments?

The booking cut-off time for overnight and international shipments is 16:00 (central London collection), Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00 only. Items must be collected and returned to our base by 17:30 to ensure they make the overnight trunk.
If the collection is from an address outside of London, bookings must be made before 15:30 on the previous working day. For some remote areas, please allow one to two days for collection.

Do you deliver at weekends?

Yes. eCourier offers weekend delivery options for next day consignments. Weekend delivery availability depends on the destination postcode. Please speak to our team or check at booking to confirm weekend eligibility for your specific address.

What items are restricted on the overnight service?

The following items are restricted on our overnight service. Please contact our NDI team before booking if you have any queries about specific items:

What insurance is included, and can I increase the cover?

We insure up to a maximum of £3,000 on overnight shipments, charged at £15 per £1,000.
We can cover computer equipment, phones, and TVs (up to 36″ only) — all of which must be in their original manufacturer’s packaging.

How do I track my next day delivery?

All next day consignments can be tracked in real-time from your device via the eCourier portal. You’ll also receive automatic SMS and email notifications at key milestones. A full tracking audit and proof of delivery (POD) is available as soon as the consignment is delivered. Our team proactively manages every consignment and handles escalations when required, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Can I integrate eCourier’s next day service into my own systems?

Yes. eCourier’s services are API-ready for customers who want to book, track, and report directly from their own platforms. How should I pack goods for an overnight delivery?

You can download our Next Day & International Packing Guide here. Please make sure labels are securely attached and items are packed to withstand conveyor belts, handling, and loading between multiple hubs. If you need more advice, please contact our NDI department.
